About Course
The rise of the digital economy brings new opportunities for women entrepreneurs. Enterprises can reach their clients better through social media, websites and, e-commerce, for example. Enterprises can also be more efficient with the right use of technology. But it is not always easy to develop and implement a digital transformation strategy.
THE PROGRAM
The Women in Digital Business Initiative (WIDB) consists of a foundation program in digital skills with five modules teaching women entrepreneurs how to position themselves effectively in the digital economy.
The foundations program is complemented by optional learning paths for prior and further learning. Developed through a partnership between the ILO and Microsoft, the programme is taught through a combination of training sessions, self-guided eLearning and, coaching. You will create a digitalization action plan applicable to your specific needs by the end of WIDB training.
The foundations program provides you with the basic skills and insights for digital entrepreneurship. You will explore a range of digital business solutions and evaluate their relevance and effectiveness for your enterprise. The foundations program focuses on building an online presence and commercializing online, covering also the broader impacts of digital transformation on people and business processes.
EARN YOUR CERTIFICATION
Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon successful submission of their digitalization plan.
